A Picture’s Worth a Thousand Words
Stories later…for now, view these precious, priceless photos courtesy of Shelia, Amberly, Emily, Nicole, Courtney, and Alonna…I dare you not to cry…
- refugee camp
- One of my favorite shots of Bradley
- Inside the shower hut, which basically meant pouring a bucket of water over your head.
- The team slept in these huts.
- Yes, this is the potty!
- Look at the huge burden she’s carrying on her head!
- This is my favorite shot of Ellie! Precious!
- outdoor kitchen…leave it to Shelia to make art out of it. Lovely!

- There was one particular moment when it struck Bradley that he was actually living his vision from the Kairos meeting where all this began…there are no words.

He’s HOME!!!
We peppered him with questions on the way home from the airport. He’s exhausted, yet answered them graciously. I understand that there are some things he just will not be able to share adequately, because we weren’t there to experience it with him, however, I have asked him to share as much as possible, because I want to see the fruit of our prayers. I want to hear what God has done. After he has rested up for a few days, he has promised to post some stories in his own words.
He came home with:
2 weeks worth of dirt layered on his body & clothing
muscles built up from brick-building & stacking
fewer shoes than he took with him, since he left some with the kids there
a real machete (It’s a guy thing!)
a full heart that is torn between his home here and his new home there
I cannot leave without asking you to pray for a little boy by name. His precious name is Innocent. He is the only child they saw with a distended belly typical of malnutrition. Such ugly words to have to type. All I know to do is pray and ask you to join me.
OK, I better go for now. Stay tuned for updates from Bradley in the next few days.
Thanks so much for being on this journey with us. You may never know the importance of your prayers. We are so thankful to have you in our lives.

Time to Celebrate!
tpcglobal Our time in Kauma is up for this year. Saying goodbye is so hard. We came with Adziwa on our shirts but we leave with it on our hearts.
tpcglobal Parents. you should be very proud of your son or daughter. They have given themselves wholeheartedly to the work of the Kingdom of Heaven.
tpcglobalWe just finished our final debrief in Malawi. It was a special time. We prayed over Will Bible who is staying over to be with the next team.
tpcglobal Our flights are confirmed for tomorrow. We are coming home! One more praise- today Elizabeth prayed to receive Christ with the prayer team.
OK, I am beside myself with joy! Brad was serving on the prayer team today, which means he must have been there when Elizabeth prayed to receive Christ! Woo – Hoo!!!
Kyle doesn’t have to tell this parent to be proud! In case you haven’t figured it out by now, I am incredibly proud of my young man!
Today is a day to celebrate. Today I am celebrating being married to my wonderful husband for 20 years. Today I am celebrating that another soul has received the free gift of salvation. Today I am celebrating that in just 2 more days, Bradley will be safe at home. He better be ready for one looonnnggg “debrief” when he gets home! I told Karen that when I see him, first I’m going to hug his neck, then I’m going to wring it, since he didn’t contact us the whole time he’s been gone!! : )
Please pray for safe travels over the next couple days and once again THANK YOU so much for allll your prayers!!!
